Quality Engineer

The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications;Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Material Engineering)Fluent in English; both written and spokenPreferably good command of RomanianPreferably experience in automotive sectorGood knowledge of SAP ERPGood command of MS Office applicationsStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skills and team-playerNo obstacle to travelling to suppliers/customers (internal and abroad)JOB DESCRIPTIONWork with and assist Quality Engineering Team Leader (where available) or Plant Quality Manager in leading his/her team under the Quality Operations and Global Accounts Quality function to ensure that daily operations related to plant quality engineering are completed in a timely and efficient manner according to the vision, strategy and strategic plan set forth by Quality Management and Continuous Improvement functionManage quality inspection and measurement equipment by carrying out new equipment purchasing/transfer, calibration and maintenance activitiesAssist Quality Engineering Team Leader or Plant Quality Manager in leading his team to manage plant level non-conformity and CAPA management by overseeing the analysis of non-conformities, determination of immediate actions, root cause analysis and taking corrective and/or preventive actionsSupport plant level quality activities by taking responsibility for long-term adoption of quality improvement projects in his/her plantBe the plant level owner of quality assurance activities by assisting quality audits, certification and product performance management, supplier quality management and new product development support and launch approvalSupport customer quality by assisting in managing plant level operationsSupport supplier quality by assisting in managing plant level operationsTake part in the quality engineering continuous improvement projects
