Job DescriptionAs a Houseperson, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

From maintaining public and back-of-house areas to supporting the Room Attendants, your work will directly contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. This role involves heavy lifting and manual handling so a high level of fitness and strength is required.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness across front and back of houseAssist with linen delivery, removing waste, and supply restockingRespond to housekeeping and guest service requests promptly and professionallyReport maintenance issues and ensure safety standards are upheldThis is a part-time position (minimum of 32 hours per week) working on a rotating 7-day roster, with a wage of $25. 42 per hour.

QualificationsPrevious housekeeping, public area, or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)A team player with a positive attitude and great attention to detailSomeone physically fit and comfortable with manual handlingAvailability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidaysTakes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spacesNZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit.
