IBM FileNet Technical Architect

Job OverviewDesign and architect IBM FileNet P8 / Content Platform Engine (CPE) solutions to meet business and technical requirements.Lead the installation, configuration, and upgrade of FileNet components, including Content Navigator, Workplace XT, and Case Manager.Define and implement solution architecture, system integration, and data migration strategies.Work closely with business stakeholders and solution teams to translate requirements into technical designs. Job OverviewEnsure high availability, scalability, and security of the FileNet platform.Oversee workflow and document management automation using Process Engine or Case Foundation.Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of FileNet environments.Create and maintain technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices.Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and application teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., IBM Content Navigator, Cloud Pak for Business Automation).Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.7+ years of experience in IBM FileNet solution design, implementation, and support.Proven expertise in FileNet P8, Content Engine (CE), Process Engine (PE), IBM Content Navigator, and Case Manager.Strong understanding of ECM architecture, document lifecycle management, and security models.Proficiency in Java/J2EE, WebSphere Application Server, SQL databases, and REST/SOAP web services.Experience integrating FileNet with third-party systems and APIs.Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure) is a plus.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA).Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM) and workflow automation tools.Certification in IBM FileNet or IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation.Understanding of Agile project delivery and DevOps practices.
