Embedded Developer

Interested in building a new product at the heart of embedded development – as part of an experienced team where projects change but expertise remains?We’re looking for a skilled developers to join an ongoing next-generation product development project for ICT DIRECT’s client in Finland. The team of around 10 professionals is building entirely new software for a new hardware platform. Tasks are shaped by the team’s skills and the evolving needs of the project. In this role, depending on your skills, you will:

Develop new features to productsAdapt existing software to a new hardware platformUpdate legacy productsAnd later, take part in product maintenanceWe value: Experience with embedded systems, especially in Embedded Linux environmentsProgramming experience in Rust and CAbility to work close to hardware, with a solid understanding of software architecture10+ years of experience developing digital solutionsFluent English language skillsLocation: Tampere or Oulu. This is primarily an on-site role – remote work opportunities are very limited.
