Greiner Industries is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to produce and repair precision parts using manual machine tools. You’ll work independently or collaboratively, using your experience to complete jobs from start to finish while maintaining high standards for safety, accuracy, and quality. 00 am)Key ResponsibilitiesOperate manual machining equipment including Bridgeport mills, lathes, band saws, and pressesRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematicsSet up machines and complete jobs with minimal supervisionMeasure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision toolsTroubleshoot production issues and apply problem-solving skills in real timeKeep documentation of part dimensions and any deviationsWork safely in a production environment and follow established proceduresSpecific QualificationsA high school graduate or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship preferredExperienced in manual machining (2+ years required)Able to run start-to-finish jobs independentlyFamiliar with first-run and prototype work, and understands extra steps required for precision partsStrong with blueprint reading, measurement tools, and general safety standardsWilling to work overtime or weekends as neededComfortable working with large parts, noisy environments, and standing for long periodsCompany OverviewWhy IES Infrastructure?IES Infrastructure offers competitive salaries.
