COMPANY: Leading Manufacturing CompanyPOSITION : IFS ERP - TEAM LEAD - (Assistant Manager / Managerial level)LOCATION: Colombo, Sri LankaSALARY: Gross Rs 600,000OVERVIEW:The ERP Team Lead – IFS will be responsible for leading the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the company’s IFS ERP system. The role involves managing a small team of ERP analysts/developers, collaborating with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical solutions, and ensuring system stability, performance, and scalability. Strong technical expertise in IFS ERP, SQL, and XML is essential.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. ERP System ManagementLead the administration, customization, and enhancement of the IFS ERP system across multiple business units.Oversee module integrations (Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) and ensure optimal system performance.Act as the primary point of contact for ERP issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.2. Technical Development & SupportDesign, develop, and maintain custom reports, interfaces, and data integrations using SQL and XML.Develop and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for business analytics and reporting.Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across ERP environments.Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support for complex IFS-related issues.3. Leadership & Team ManagementSupervise and mentor a team of ERP analysts and developers, setting priorities and performance goals.Coordinate cross-functional activities between IT and key business departments.Manage system upgrades, patch management, and version migrations.4. Process Improvement & GovernanceCollaborate with business leaders to identify automation opportunities and system enhancements.Document technical configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.Ensure compliance with IT governance, change control, and data management policies.Key Skills & Competencies:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.5–8 years of experience in IFS ERP administration or development, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership or team lead capacity.Proven track record of implementing ERP solutions or managing ERP projects.Experience with ERP upgrades, module rollouts, and integrations preferred.
