Overseeing the development and execution of Ignitis Group's Environmental Management SystemBuilding and maintaining proactive relationships with governmental environmental bodies to optimize operations and manage costs effectivelyDeveloping and tracking environmental performance indicators for Ignitis Group, providing management with clear and current updates on environmental compliance and performanceCreating and implementing environmental programs throughout Ignitis Group's operations, ensuring thorough applicationEnsuring compliance with environmental commitments and legal requirementsLiaising and engaging with regulatory authorities and Ignitis Group internal environmental teamsConducting environmental audits and ensuring follow-up actions are completedStandardizing operational procedures to align with environmental compliance, assessing risks, and coordinating with regulatory authoritiesCommunications & Relationships:

Fostering effective communication and relationships across business interfacesPossessing strong networking skills, both internally and externally, to build robust relationships with industry counterpartsEnsuring adherence to compliance and conducting internal auditsRequired for this position:

Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of practical experience in environmental managementFamiliarity with Lithuanian environmental legislation and compliance processesSolid technical expertise in the energy sector or similar industries, with an aptitude for rapid learning and adaptationStrong negotiation and communication abilities in a diverse cultural settingCapacity to engage effectively across all organizational levels, from field operations to senior managementProfessional relationships with governmental and public sector entities to support future growth and operational flexibilityExcellent written and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in English and LithuanianStrong problem-solving skillsIn return for creating a more sustainable future, we promise:
