This role plays a critical part in fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with international standards. Developing and implementing a comprehensive Health & Safety strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and sustainability goalsEnsure full compliance with ISO 45001 and other applicable local and international health and safety regulationsLeading risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across all project phases—from design and construction to operation and decommissioningOverseeing incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actionsPromoting a strong H&S culture through employee training, leadership engagement, and continuous improvement initiativesActing as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding H&S mattersEstablishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), conducting internal audits, and providing regular reports to senior leadershipManaging emergency preparedness and ensuring the development and testing of crisis response plansRequired for this position:

University degree or equivalent higher education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical/scientific disciplineMinimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Health & Safety, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership roleExperience in large international organisations, ideally within the energy, renewables, or infrastructure sectors within matrix organisational structuresIn-depth knowledge of European Health & Safety legislation, ISO standards (especially ISO 45001), and international best practicesStrong leadership capabilities with a continuous improvement mindsetExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal; proficient in IT tools and systemsKnowledge of regional labour codes and occupational safety legislationHands-on experience with risk assessments, accident investigations, and safety compliance proceduresFamiliarity with fire safety, first aid, employee training, and internal documentation protocolsIn return for creating a more sustainable future, we promise:
