You will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of Support Workers to deliver the best possible outcomes for the people we support. We are looking for someone with the passion and expertise to coach and develop the skills within their team of Support Workers. Responsibilities IncludePlanning and ensuring delivery of support services for people with disabilities. Managing and developing a strong team of Support Workers.
Building positive relationships with wh?nau including their involvement in the care of their loved ones. Planning and coordinating the work of your team to ensure the best service outcomes are achieved (including rostering and staff training). Celebrating the achievements of the people we support. Implementing best practice strategies and managing health & safety requirements. Ng? p?manawatanga ?u | What you will bringPrevious management experience within the Health and Disability sector preferred. Strong people management experience, leading a team of people to achieve the best outcomes. Relevant technical experience e. g. rostering, budgets, HR practices, service planning and risk management.
Demonstrated awareness, sensitivity, and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi. Computer skills, including MS Office Suite, and the ability to learn new systems quickly. We provide 24/7 services all year round, and the ability to participate in the on-call roster is essential to the delivery of our services. A full NZ driver's licence.
