Working as a team to respond to co-worker queries, including the shared HR inbox, and business partner with leaders in driving the local people plan and ad hoc matters that may arise Ensuring and executing delivery of learning & training at the unit level, including tracking of completion and reporting Implementing a co-worker relations plan that effectively manages all local interactions with co-workers, including performance management, and ensures that all areas in the unit work with the labour relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures and laws Understand and manage the WorkCover claim processes, including co-worker experience, stakeholder management, and related administrative tasks Support the recruitment processes by participating in interviews, managing internal applications, and overseeing a positive onboarding experience Work as a team to ensure administrative tasks are completed and planned events are executed successfully As ​People & Culture Generalist​ you are or have:
Hands on and enjoy a busy, dynamic retail environment.
Willing to jump into different situations both in People and Culture as well as retail operations Comfortable using a range of digital tools including Kronos, Microsoft Office Suite and other apps to successfully perform this role Highly developed communication skills with the ability to lead and develop others; strong coaching and mentoring techniques that support your genuine interest in people Proven ability to be able to build and strengthen key relationships to compliment and support our collaborative and inclusive store culture Able to navigate complex situations as well as confidence in managing WorkCover Compensation claims, both new and existing cases A degree in human resources and/or proven experience as a human resource generalist, you are looking to take your next step to grow your career!
