BergenMaterial coordinator/logisticsWe are looking for a dedicated Maritime Traffic and Logistics Coordinator to join a critical shore-based operations center. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of logistics and emergency response for offshore operations on the Norwegian continental shelf. Responsibilities Conduct maritime traffic monitoring of safety zones surrounding offshore installations. Manage the operational deployment of emergency response and supply vessels. Coordinate and optimize vessel and supply resources for maximum efficiency. Plan, develop, and improve logistics services related to marine operations. Work within a land-based, 24/7 operations center supporting offshore activities.
Required expertise Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Nautical Science. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience. Deck Officer Class 2 certificate is highly preferred, with the ability to obtain a Class 1 certificate. Proven ability to handle operational challenges in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. A structured and efficient work methodology. Fluency in both English and Norwegian.
