BærumInstrument CommissioningThe Commissioning Engineer MEG EI&T is responsible for engaging and performing Completion and Commissioning activities related to the fabrication testing, documentation preparation and system testing of PWP MEG Re-Gen module. This position is fully mobile with base location in Grimstad, until mobilization to Stord Yard during integration phase. Responsibilities: Ensure completion and commissioning requirements for all EI&T systems are fulfilled. Implement the commissioning certification and handover process according to the project strategy. Follow up on module fabrication and witness tests at supplier sites (FAT/SAT). Execute and supervise commissioning activities for dedicated EI&T systems.
Act as the discipline supervisor during the dynamic commissioning phase. Verify that field installations comply with design specifications. Plan, facilitate, and report on all EIT commissioning activities. Assist with compiling all necessary documentation for handover to operations. Ensure clear communication between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Contribute to a smooth and safe transition from the project phase to operations. Required expertise: Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer, specifically with EI&T systems. Strong knowledge of MEG systems and processes. Familiarity with project completion strategies, certification, and handover processes. Experience working on-site at fabrication yards and offshore installations.
Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Competence in reading and interpreting engineering designs and documents. Excellent planning, reporting, and communication skills. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
