About The RoleAs a Hospitality Trainee at IRT Greenwell Gardens, you will contribute to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents and their families.
You will be responsible for providing excellent hospitality services, ensuring meals are served with care, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting the overall well-being of our residents. This role is full time working a combination of Morning and Afternoon shifts across Monday to Friday. You will be studying a Certificate II in Health Support Services which is paid for as part of your traineeship. The traineeship will be for a contracted term of 12 months.
Your Work May IncludeWorking with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparationDelivering and serving meals to our residentsGeneral laundry duties, including personal laundryInteracting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationshipsAdhering to strict food safety guidelinesHelping with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas To Be Successful You Will HaveExperience delivering hospitality/food services (highly regarded)A big heart - an empathetic approach and strong customer service skillsExperience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent ResidentMust NOT have completed or be currently studying a Certificate II in Health Support Services or similar or higher (example; Certificate III).
