Job Description

The Opportunity Newcastle Anglican are seeking experienced Care Assistants for Part time opportunities at our Warnervale Gardens Aged care facility in Woongarrah NSW. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing excellent care to seniors in our residential aged care homes. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic individual looking to gain further experience in a great team environment. You will have the opportunity to make every moment matter by bringing respect, compassion, integrity and enhancing the wellbeing of our residents and consumers.

Role & Responsibilities:

  Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their familiesConsistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilitiesObserve confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communicationsAbide by Aged Care StandardsWork as an effective team member About you? Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, or enrolled in a BA Nursing degreeCurrent First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtainAn ability to work effectively as an individual and within a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to accurately document residents care/progress Who we are?
