Draftsperson

Supply Solutions Australia is a multi-faceted privately owned company providing scaffolding, labour and construction solutions. We partner with industry leaders based in the Illawarra and surrounding regions delivering high-quality, safe and reliable services across a range of industrial projects. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced full-time Draftsperson to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable practical and technical support to our Estimators and Supervisors by assisting in the drafting and design of scaffold drawings.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to the growth and success of our company located in Port Kembla. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and interpret drawings in line with drafting principles, techniques, and industry standards. Provide technical support, quality control, and checks for scaffolding systems. Produce structural designs and scaffold construction solutions to meet industry-leading standards. Complete drawings including working loads and structures. Liaise with managers, estimators, and customers to ensure project needs are met. Work on the design of specific scaffold components, assemblies, barricading, and other project-critical concepts.

Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards (including AS4576) and safety regulations. Skills & ExperienceMinimum Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting (Essential)Advanced skills in AutoCAD (essential). Navisworks and 3D modelling experience (desirable). Scaffold and/or construction experience (essential). Willingness to study and learn relevant Australian and safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong organisational skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently with general supervision. Comfortable working to deadlines and under pressure.
