Start your Voyage – Apply NowJr. Private Credit AnalystJob PurposeThis role is a part of our Voya Investment Management Entry Level Program. This program, which will begin in July 2026, is designed to develop the careers of entry level employees and provide you with the unique opportunity to begin your investment career while gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job development and training.The Analyst will be part of the Voya Private Credit Team and is responsible for supporting existing senior analysts and portfolio managers in the analysis of Private Placement Offerings of various debt securities, monitoring existing private credit assets, and completing assigned tasks and workflow streams within the team.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Selection – assist the team as they:Analyze credit/investment characteristics of prospective borrowing entitiesResearch and spread financial documents and build/maintain financial modelsEvaluate, and independently form and justify a view on, transaction credit qualityInteract with internal legal team to evaluate structural and other elements of proposed transactionsPresent conclusions and recommendations to senior staffPrepare and present written analysis to Voya IM credit committeePerform further due diligence through interaction with debt issuer prior to close of transactionPortfolio Monitoring – Assist The Team As TheySupervise credit quality of private credit assets and compliance with debt covenantsMaintain communication with borrowersCoordinate and maintain complete files on individual portfolio investmentsReview and negotiate amendment and waiver requests, and process according to internal policy(Jr Analyst to assume greater direct coverage of certain investments as time progresses)QualificationsApplicants should be graduating with an undergraduate degree in December 2025 or spring/summer of 2026Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field, willingness to pursue a CFA designationStrong academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred)Passionate about a career in financial servicesFundamental understanding of Accounting PrinciplesExcellent analytical skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong computer skills including MS OfficeStrong business orientationExcellent customer orientationSolid planning & organizing skillsTeammate, positive attitude, eager to learn in a supporting roleCompensation Pay DisclosureVoya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
