Producer, you as a Producer are responsible for managing all aspects of video production assigned, including concept development, pre-production, production, and post-production. Your expertise and skill set will span across all Impact Theory channels existing, as well as any future channels created for our brand. You will also lead booking talent for our episodes. Please note this role is on-site at our West Hollywood, California office.
RequirementsResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute video content that aligns with the channel's brand and audience, closely partnering to develop the vision of the hostYou will be responsible to book guests on the show and develop/maintain relationships with industry representatives (PR, Publishers, Agents, Managers, etc.
)Manage pre-production activities, including content ideation, pitching guests, researching, and schedulingCollaborate with the team to ensure videos are delivered on time and in line with Production SOPs and budgetsGreet and engage with guests upon arrival on setContinuously evaluate and optimize the channel's performance, audience engagement, budget, and revenue potentialPartner with YouTube Strategist and be obsessed with the data. You'll define hypotheses and constantly test your theories. Work with the creative team to develop and execute on new innovative concepts for YouTube videosStay in touch with trends, emerging competitors, and hot topics to keep our brand on the forefront.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective distribution strategiesCollaborate with the Production Manager and Production Coordinator on the release schedule for all assets assignedRequired Skills/Abilities: 5+ years of experience as a Producer specifically across YouTube, Podcast, and the Creative landscape Experience with data and analytics specifically in Social Media, YouTube, Podcast environmentsMust have prior experience booking influencers, thought leaders, VIPs, etc. and maintaining strong relationships with PR, Managers, Publishers, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriateAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Google GSuite, Slack, etcProficient with frame. io, Rev, Concur softwareUnderstanding of best editing practices, Premiere Pro, Final Cut ProPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer. Ability to lift 25lbs when assisting on set. Ability to come to set for in-person shootsAbility to travel, as needed.
