Implementation Specialist

OverviewPAQ IT is a modern Irish-owned ICT and Managed Services Provider based in Limerick, servicing over 300 clients across the mid-west. We specialise in delivering tailored, future-focused IT solutions to the SMB market.We are seeking an Implementation Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on implementing modern cloud-first and hybrid infrastructure solutions, working closely with our vCIO and Technical Solutions Architect to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery for our clients.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on technical ability, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to implementation, documentation, and handover.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver complex IT projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, network infrastructure, and security.Deploy and configure firewalls, switches, access points, and servers on client sites.Collaborate with the vCIO and Technical Solutions Architect on project scoping and design handovers.Document configurations, project milestones, and deployment plans thoroughly.Ensure handover documentation is complete for service desk and client reference.Participate in internal project reviews and post-project analysis.Provide technical input into client audits and contribute to solution planning.Stay current with evolving best practices, technologies, and certifications.Act as a technical lead on assigned projects and mentor junior team members.Qualifications and Experience5+ years’ experience in a hands-on technical engineering role.Proven experience delivering infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Azure-based projects.Strong understanding of Windows Server, Azure AD, Intune, and Conditional Access.Virtual Environments (VMWare, Hyper-V,etc.)Firewall and network configuration experience (Unifi, SonicWall).Microsoft certifications (MD-102, MS-203, MS-700, AZ-104, AZ-140, Network+, Security+).Strong documentation, planning, and communication skills.Comfortable working independently and meeting project deadlines.BenefitsCompany vehicleLaptop and phone20 days annual leave (23 after 3 years, 25 after 5 years)€750 annual Health Insurance ContributionPension scheme Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Death in Service BenefitOpportunities for training and certificationSupportive and collaborative team environmentIf you are a self-motivated and customer-focused individual looking for an exciting opportunity to grow your career, we encourage you to apply for this position.CV’s can be sent to hr@paqit.com
