Import and Customs Clearance Expert - Central Asia

Goldwind, a trusted global strategic partner in clean energy, is seeking one Import and Customs Clearance Expert for our Central Asia's wind farm operations and maintenance department.Interview for this position will start from January 2026.ResponsibilitiesMonitor changes in import and customs policies and procedures in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, providing professional interpretation and actionable recommendations.Proactively engaging with key stakeholders, including customs, freight forwarders, and logistics partners in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, to promptly address and resolve any clearance challenges.Optimize customs processes to achieve cost reduction and efficiency gains. Conduct ongoing reviews and proactively implement improvement measures.Act as a liaison between internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Logistics) to facilitate seamless import operations by providing expert customs support and guidance. Ideal candidates are also expected to support the identification, developmenet, and management of local material suppliers to establish efficient and cost-effective procurement channels, ensuring a stable supply of materials for projects.QualificationsLanguage requirements: English/Russian/Uzbek, proficiency in Chinese will be plus.Business travel: both international and domestic, less than 30%Strong problem solving, team working, communication and coordination capabilities.Demonstrate a conscientious and well-organized work ethic, committed to high standards of accuracy and capable of managing workplace pressures.3-5 years' relevant working experiences.Previous experiences in warehouse management and material management/procurement are highly desirable.About Our CompanyGoldwind is a trusted global strategic partner in clean energy.
