Import And Export Analyst

Altis Recruitment is excited to partner with our client in Mississauga to recruit a permanent Import & Export Analyst. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) is responsible for managing compliance with domestic and international import/export regulations, overseeing logistics processes, and supporting efficient departmental operations.Key Responsibilities:Manage customs and logistics activities for import and export shipments across multiple divisions.Maintain and update the HS Tariff Classification system, including assigning codes for new products.Ensure adherence to all applicable government regulations for import and export processes.Review and verify customs broker invoices and coordinate with brokers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.Evaluate and negotiate with transportation providers to optimize shipping costs, service quality, and delivery timelines.Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.Qualifications and Skills:Post-secondary education (college or university degree) with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs compliance, and logistics operations.CBSA certification or equivalent is considered an asset.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SAP is a plus.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.Ability to work within established policies and procedures while managing multiple priorities.
