Import & Export Operations Specialist (Sea & Road Transportation)

Our Turkey branch, Justlog TR, plays a key role in connecting European and Asian trade routes by managing efficient and transparent import–export operations for our partners worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesOrganize and monitor import & export shipments (sea and road) from our clients, suppliers, or logistics partners.Ensure on-time delivery, customs compliance, and proper documentation throughout all shipment stages.Coordinate booking, loading, and documentation processes (B/L, CMR, invoice, packing list, insurance certificates, etc.).Communicate proactively with carriers, agents, and customers regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.Prepare and issue invoices, pre-alerts, and customs documents in accordance with procedures.Manage and track customs clearance processes in collaboration with customs brokers and agents.Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and trucking companies.Support the accounting department in ensuring accurate cost and billing records.Report regularly to the management on shipment progress, delays, or operational challenges.Ensure all operational procedures comply with BtoBTurk’s internal standards and international trade regulations.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in International Logistics, Maritime Business, International Trade, or Transportation Management.Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in international logistics or freight forwarding (import & export operations).Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade documentation.Proven ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced international environment.Experience in sea freight and road transport operations is a must.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with logistics management tools or ERP systems.Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team coordination abilities.
