Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the roleAs Import/Export Operations Team Manager, you'll oversee the daily running of NZ Post's International Freight Services (IFS) team, ensuring imports and exports are managed efficiently, accurately, and in line with compliance requirements. You'll play a key role in maintaining seamless operations, driving process improvements, and supporting the business to meet its growth and service goals.You'll lead a capable team, foster strong partnerships across the business and industry, and make sure customers receive exceptional service every time.In This Role You Will BeLeading, coaching and developing your team, promoting a positive, high-performance cultureOverseeing all import/export operations, ensuring compliance with Customs, MPI, and aviation regulationsManaging financial performance, including billing accuracy, revenue recovery and cost controlIdentifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and service deliveryResolving customer issues promptly, maintaining high satisfaction and retention levelsBuilding strong relationships with key stakeholders, from internal teams to airlines, agents and border agenciesMōu - About YouYou're an experienced people leader and freight forwarding professional with a solid grasp of international logistics and border requirements.
