Import Operations Specialist

Work Type: Remote – Full Time – 40 hours/weekJob DescriptionWe are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Import Operations Specialist to manage the complete purchasing and import process — from placing supplier orders to final delivery at the warehouse. This role requires close coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments.You will handle all stages of the import workflow, including order follow-up, production tracking, shipping coordination, import documentation, and cost reconciliation. You’ll work closely with the logistics and accounting departments to ensure smooth execution of every order cycle.ResponsibilitiesManage all purchase orders from confirmation to warehouse delivery.Communicate daily with suppliers (mainly China and Türkiye) to monitor production and documentation (PI, CI, PL).Ensure all Incoterms (EXW, FOB, DDP) and shipping conditions are clearly defined.Track shipments, coordinate with freight forwarders, and manage customs-related documentation.Handle Dangerous Goods (Hazmat) shipping requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor ETA and container status, and share regular updates with logistics and accounting teams.Prepare cost tracking sheets and update inventory, cost, and Sellerboard data.Report weekly updates through Asana and Microsoft Teams.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or import/export operations.Strong understanding of international shipping and Incoterms (EXW, FOB, DDP).Experience with container-based imports and Dangerous Goods (DG) is a plus.Excellent command of Excel (Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, cost analysis).Fluent written and verbal communication in English is required.Proficiency in Asana and Microsoft Teams is required.Ability to work independently and meet strict timelines.ReportingReports to: ManagementWeekly report submission: every Friday 6 PM TSI via AsanaApplication DetailsApplications via LinkedIn onlyCV requiredPortfolio optionalVideo CV optional
