Import Supervisor

Customs Clearance and Import LeadSUMMARY OF THE ROLEIn this role you will handle & verify all required documents for import operation shipments by ensuring documents & payments are efficiently completed from internal stakeholders (Treasury & Purchasing) and follow up on all Customs Clearance day-to-day activities for overseas shipments to ensure their alignment with Jotun objectives, policies, and procedures.You will be reporting to Purchasing Manager and you will be based in our Jotun Egypt factory in Al Roabaky Industrial Park, 10th of Ramadan city, Egypt.Follow up on import shipment documents (CargoX, banking, purchasing) and initiate customs clearance.Coordinate inbound purchase orders, systematic receiving, and transfers to final destinations in line with operations schedules.Communicate with suppliers on freight status, including tracking, routing, dispatching, and rate quotations.Ensure all customs-related activities and documentation comply with policies, procedures, and shipment timelines.Participate in planning processes with internal stakeholders.Support the Purchasing Manager in evaluating logistics solutions (packaging, lot size, distributors, transport, customs regulations, local laws).Assist in updating local purchasing parameters and ensuring accurate supplier invoice control and timely payments.Monitor, follow up, and report KPIs to the Purchasing Manager, ensuring zero demurrage.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERWhat We Look For:Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management, or any related field.3-4 years of experience in Import, Custom Clearance and/or Freight Forwarding.Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic & English.Personal Qualities We Look For:Co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience, and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goalsCommunicates in a clear, precise, and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectivelyDemonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional developmentActs on own initiative, makes things happen, and accepts responsibility for the result.What We Offer:Competitive compensation and benefitsCareer development opportunities across multiple disciplines and geographiesLeaders who focus on engaging and enabling their team, as proven by consistently high employee feedback scoresA supportive and inclusive company culture where you can be your authentic selfA focus on having fun together through team building and social activitiesPOSITION INFORMATIONCompany:El-Mohandes Jotun S.A.E.Contract Type:Annual ContractTime Type:Full timeCLOSING DATE (dd.mm.yyyy):30.11.2025
