Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder specializing in Same-Day Surgery Coding / Inpatient Coding. The ideal candidate will accurately review and code medical records for same-day surgical procedures and inpatient procedures, ensuring compliance with coding standards and timely submission of claims for reimbursement.Key ResponsibilitiesReview patient medical records related to same-day surgeries and inpatient procedures, and encode them using the appropriate coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, etc.).Ensure accuracy and completeness of surgical documentation.Process and submit claims for insurance reimbursement promptly.Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information in medical records.Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.Collaborate with healthcare providers, billing, and administrative teams to ensure accurate coding.Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines, procedures, and best practices.QualificationsGraduate of BS Nursing, Allied Medical Course, or Health Information Management.Minimum of 2 years experience in surgical or outpatient coding, preferably same-day surgery.Active coding certification (CIC, CCS, CPC) required.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.Proficient in coding software and electronic medical records (EMR).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Work ArrangementOnsite: Cebu / Quezon City/WFH
