Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Servicedesk Engineer who enjoys being the first point of contact when colleagues encounter technical issues. In this position, you'll act as the digital lifeline for our client's employees, helping them navigate IT problems and stay productive with minimal disruption. If you take satisfaction in resolving issues firsthand, and want to play a key role in keeping internal operations running smoothly, this role could be your next step. Your ImpactProvide direct technical support to internal staff, handling both simple and more complex issues involving applications, hardware, user accounts. .

Use remote tools and documented methods to troubleshoot and resolve incidents or escalate when necessaryInstall and configure desktops, mobile devices, and essential workplace tools for new and existing employeesMaintain accurate records of tickets and communications, following each case from intake to resolution or hand-offSupport improvement to the servicedesk such as system rollouts, user communications, or process improvementsYour ProfilePrevious experience as an IT Servicedesk EngineerBachelor's or Graduate degree in IT or similar is an assetSolid experience with Microsoft enterprise tools, including Active Directory, Office 365, and software deployment systemsQuick to understand new systems, eager to dive into technical or functional challenges, and generous in sharing your knowledgeFriendly and composed under pressure, you enjoy supporting others and helping them get back to work quicklyDetail-oriented and process-minded, especially when it comes to logging and prioritizing support ticketsPracticalProficiency in Dutch and French is essentialGood knowledge of English is also required for documentation and cross-team coordinationThis role is based near Ghent, onsite is required but includes flexibility with teleworking
