Indirect Tax Assistant Manager

As a Member Firm of KPMG with a centralized capability, KDN’s role in Indirect Tax Compliance is to work closely with KPMG member firms across the spectrum of “Sell – Deliver – Grow”. KDN IDT sales/solutioning professionals work closely with member firms to help them “Sell” multi-country compliance outsourcing engagements, whereby KDN will “Deliver” a high-quality client centric experience leveraging leading technology, which in turn helps those member firms and KPMG overall “Grow” in the market.Role SummaryThe Indirect Tax Assistant Manager is responsible for reviewing VAT and Indirect Tax returns for different LATAM countries. The role will also review related Indirect Tax reports and workpapers. His/her function will include gathering information, reviewing and cleansing the information, as required to prepare VAT and Indirect Tax returns forms and submit such forms to the tax administrations. The role also will be responsible for providing guidance and helping to keep compliance processes up to date concerning tax laws, regulations, and compliance procedures.Experience/Knowledge Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, administration, tax or related field5 years in Tax compliance.Work experience in taxation of Latin American Countries.Strong knowledge of Indirect Taxes is requiredPrecision and reliability, pro-active personalityCuriosity and passion to find solutions to client’s needsExtensive experience using the calendar and email features in Microsoft OutlookProficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
