We are currently seeking a Scrum Master for our public health software products to join our expanding national team.
The ideal candidate is an experienced agile practitioner with hands-on experience collaborating within Scrum teams to deliver product updates. They will possess excellent communication and facilitation skills, and a desire to help the world be a healthier place to live in, and a keen interest in public health technology. Guide the team(s) and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers. Sprint Planning & Execution: Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement and retrospectives. Remove Impediments: Actively work to identify and remove any impediments that might hinder the team’s progress. Continuous Improvement: Encourage and support continuous improvement within the team and the organization. Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution. Collaboration & Communication: Foster a transparent and communicative environment, ensuring that the team collaborates effectively with Leadership, customers and other teams. Metrics & Reporting:
Track and communicate team, sprint and release progress using appropriate metrics and reporting tools. Mentoring & Coaching: Coach team members on Agile practices and principles, helping them understand their roles within the Agile framework. Adherence to Agile Practices: Ensure the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines. What We're Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environmentProficient using Microsoft tools (Teams, Visio, Word, Excel, etc. ) Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum. Excellent communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Proficient in Agile project management tools (e. g. Azure DevOps). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Team player with a positive attitude. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Passionate about continuous improvement and Agile practices.
