Take advantage of new opportunities and take on exciting tasks and attractive positions with direct customer assignment.Job DescriptionLead and manage a team on conducting time and motion studies, develop standardized work, and balance operator workloads to align with takt time using Pre-determined Time Standards like MTM, MOST or MODAPTS Train the team in customer new product introduction process Present the station readiness plan to steering committee and to the customer Present the line balance to the core launch team which will include product, engineering and operational team members. Lead throughput and bottleneck analysis to identify improvement opportunities and eliminate constraints. Provide direction to Station Design, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to implement design and process improvements. Ensure that the data for ergonomic evaluations using digital tools such as Process Simulate Human or ErgoMan is provided to the responsible team Validate PFMEA and process documentation for compliance and launch approval. Lead or participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) workshops and lean manufacturing initiatives. Track and report launch metrics including cycle time adherence, first-time quality, downtime, and throughput performance. Support pilot builds, tool tryouts, and process validation during pre-production phases. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline) or relevant work experience 3 to 5 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing or assembly environment. Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel for line layouts and analysis. Experience with lean manufacturing, line balancing, and standardized work principles. Strong working knowledge of PFMEA, lean methodologies, and ergonomic design. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
