Industrial Mechanical Technician

Job description: Job Purpose The Industrial Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing mechanical systems - including conveyors, pumps, and milling machinery — to ensure high equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support continuous plant operations.  Key Accountabilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems within milling equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, ensuring timely corrective action to minimize downtime. Document all maintenance activities, spare part usage, and equipment performance in ERP systems. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and production lines. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, health, and quality standards. Collaborate with production teams to plan and execute scheduled maintenance efficiently. Train and guide junior technicians in mechanical maintenance procedures and safety practices. Assist in spare parts inventory control and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained. Participate actively in continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line manager in alignment with business needs. Uphold the company’s code of conduct, ethics, and compliance with Saudi labor and regulatory requirements. What We’re Looking For Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, preferably in milling or feed operations. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of mechanical systems specific to flour or feed plants is an advantage.
