Role & ResponsibilitiesTranslate company growth strategy and sales forecasts into robust financial plans, ensuring liquidity, working capital sufficiency, and sustainable profitability. Lead the Finance, Accounting, and Procurement teams, setting KPIs, coaching on compliance and accuracy, and instilling a high-integrity financial culture.

Monitor real-time financial metrics (cash flow, gross margin, EBITDA, FX exposure) and deploy root-cause analysis to mitigate risks and optimize performance. Implement cost-control initiatives, capital allocation frameworks, and treasury strategies that improve efficiency, reduce leakage, and strengthen resilience. Ensure strict compliance with IFRS standards, Ethiopian tax laws, and global reporting requirements; oversee audits, statutory filings, and risk assessments. Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Product Divisions to support CAPEX investments, new product launches, and international expansion. Partner with Senior Leadership and Board on investor relations, fundraising, debt structuring, and strategic financial partnerships with local and global institutions.

Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 10+ years progressive finance leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing, technology, or FMCG sectors. Proven expertise in corporate finance, treasury, and cost accounting. Solid command of ERP systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP, or equivalent) and advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Power BI/Tableau for financial modeling. Demonstrated leadership of diverse, multicultural teams with strong mentoring skills. Fluency in English and Amharic. High ethical standards, attention to detail, and ownership mindset. PreferredPost-graduate qualification such as MBA, PhD, ACCA, or CPA. Experience raising capital (equity, debt, sovereign partnerships).

Familiarity with global supply chain financing, LC management, and FX hedging. Knowledge of international compliance frameworks and transfer pricing.
