Use your knowledge of legislation and strong decision-making skills to ensure privacy, compliance, and timely responses for internal and external clients.Your New RoleAs an Information Access Officer, you will be the essential link between clients and vital health information ensuring all requests for information are handled accurately, confidentially, and within legal timeframes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and collate documents for various request types such as subpoenas, medical reports, insurance forms, and police requests.Determine appropriate access mechanisms and negotiate request scope and timeframes with applicants.Maintain current knowledge of legislation and apply it to ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards.Coordinate with internal departments for medical certificates and imaging requests. About you: You're a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of legal frameworks around information access and privacy.
