Serving a customer base across seven provinces, our advanced solutions include Internet, Mobile, TV, Telephone, Security and Automation, Data Communications, and exclusive locally produced programming on Eastlink Community TV.We embrace diversity, inclusion, equity, and accessibility throughout all levels of the organization and encourage members of equity groups to self-identify during the application process.As a collaborative member of the Network Security team, the Information Security Administrator II is responsible for day-to-day security operations, support, administration and maintenance of the security and network infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesConfiguration and implementation of firewalls and supporting infrastructurePerform advanced troubleshooting and resolve issuesDevelop and improve deployment and operations support documentationAssist with security incidents, investigations and root-cause analysisEnsure timely patching and updates of security tools and systems.Support the deployment and integration of new security technologies.Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory standards.Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.Partner with IT, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure secure system implementations.Provide guidance and support to business units on security best practices.Participate in security awareness and training initiatives.Maintain accurate records of security configurations, incidents, and resolutions.Skills & QualificationsA minimum of 5 years’ experience in networking and security.Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or comparable work experience.Administration experience with next-generation firewalls.Able to multitask and deliver on multiple projects efficiently.ISC2 Security Certifications are beneficial.Palo-Alto experience or certifications are beneficial.
