Job Description

We’re looking for a highly skilled and passionate Information Security Engineer to join our IT team and play a key role in safeguarding our organization’s digital environment.This is a hands-on technical role focused on implementing, maintaining, and monitoring cybersecurity infrastructure and controls — ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data in alignment with our governance framework.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and manage secure network architectures.Implement, configure, and maintain security tools including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, DLP, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management systems.Perform security monitoring, incident detection, and response.Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate penetration testing.Manage IAM processes and enforce least-privilege principles.Ensure secure configurations of servers, endpoints, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.).Investigate and respond to threats, incidents, and breaches.Support internal and external security audits.Contribute to risk assessments, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities.Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.RequirementsQualifications & KnowledgeBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, Network+, CEH, or Microsoft Security Operations Analyst preferred.Advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC) are an advantage or willingness to pursue them.Familiarity with NCA ECC, SADIA, and ISO 27001 standards.Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), network protocols, and cloud security.Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in threat intelligence, incident response, and digital forensics.Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and SIEM platforms.Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.Excellent documentation and reporting skills.Collaborative mindset with high ethical standards.Experience3–6 years’ experience in IT security engineering, SOC operations, or system administration with a security focus.Hands-on experience managing security infrastructure and responding to incidents.Experience in regulated sectors (finance, government, or critical infrastructure) is an advantage.BenefitsWhy Join UsThis is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking organization where your expertise will directly contribute to protecting critical assets and driving continuous security improvements.
