Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike. The designated business and solid setup offer outstanding development potentials for R4 itself but consequently also for all employees, because there will be lots of interesting jobs in an international and dynamic work environment.In order to achieve our common goals, we count on youCollaborate with internal divisions and customers to draft and review IT contracts, ensuring that agreements are clear, compliant, and aligned with both business objectives and operational requirements.Define and maintain a service level agreement framework, working closely with the Service Delivery Manager, Business Relationship Manager, and Service Owners to ensure consistency and alignment across all services. Collaborate with the Service Owner and IT Service Delivery Manager to negotiate IT contracts, ensuring that agreements reflect both strategic goals and operational realities.Establish and maintain a project contract framework, supporting the Project Management Office in its application and ensuring contractual consistency across project initiatives.Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies, legal standards, data protection regulations, and risk management guidelines, safeguarding the organization’s interests and reputation.Take ownership of maintaining a central, up-to-date contract repository and managing the full lifecycle of IT contracts, from creation to renewal or termination.Translate performance metrics, SLAs, and responsibilities into clear, actionable contract terms with divisions and consumers, driving accountability and service excellence.Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for synergies and cost savings across both new and existing contracts, contributing to continuous improvement and financial efficiency.Have fundamental knowledge of corporate finance and support the IT Controller in service charging activities, ensuring transparency and accuracy in cost allocation and recovery.What you will need for successful workBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Law or a related field.Strong understanding of contract law and IT-specific contractual standards, ensuring compliance and clarity in all agreements.Proven experience in contract negotiation and lifecycle management, from drafting to renewal or termination.Familiarity with SLAs and commercial terms in IT environments, enabling effective performance and cost management.Solid knowledge of supplier management and vendor governance to maintain strong, accountable partnerships.An analytical and structured working style, with the ability to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities.Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.Familiarity with IT service and sourcing models such as ITIL, SIAM, and outsourcing frameworks.Solid understanding of financial management within customer contracts, including pricing models, billing principles, and cost control.Experience in budget planning, financial forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure contract profitability.Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends or risks, and recommend corrective or preventive actions.Good proficiency in English and in GermanWhat we are happy aboutExperience in defense / manufacturing companyWhat we offerTake over an important and challenging role with high visibilityBecome part of the unique growth stories of Rheinmetall and 4iG, which offer outstanding development and career opportunitiesGain insight into the defense and automotive industryMake use of the broad network with over 40.000 great colleagues at Rheinmetall and 4iG worldwideBenefit from various professional trainings and eventsEnjoy our international and flexible work environment with an official office in Budapest but up to 90% mobile work
