Information Technology Operations Lead

About the RoleThe IT Systems Operation Lead is responsible for designing, implementing and administering the internal infrastructure and IT services that support our research and development and business practices. Candidates should have experience in architecting and maintaining mission critical, high security systems that provide core services to the technical teams. We are looking for a senior specialist that can bootstrap our IT operations, conforming to our unique needs, and supervise the future growth of the infrastructure and the IT team.ResponsibilitiesDesign, procure and implement internal systems to support R&D teamsDeploy scalable and automated servicesAdminister, maintain, monitor and supervise internal and external systems and servicesDesign, implement and maintain secure network and client access to internal labMonitor security events, usage patterns and performance benchmarksTroubleshoot issues and outagesCommunicate with technical and business managementOrganize and produce high quality documentation Required Skills and Qualifications10+ years of experience in relevant roles (devops, sysadmin, IT operations, etc)Deep understanding of network and system security concepts and practicesFlexibility to design and implement infrastructures with non-standard requirementsLinux server management experience and deep knowledge of relevant virtualization and containerization technologiesBasic programming and scripting knowledge for automationAbility to diagnose network, software and common hardware issues BenefitsFull-remote work with flexible working hours and/or great office locations in Copenhagen and BarcelonaAn opportunity to be a founding member of our IT team and lead our IT effortsLearning and conference compensationCompetitive salary and reward schemeSocial and professional team eventsCandidates must be able to travel to EU site, preferably should hold an EU passport.
