Job Description

The Project Manager will operate within the Group IT Project Management Office and will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of key strategic IT initiatives. The role spans multiple IT domains, including ERP, infrastructure, security, and digital.Responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end, ensuring strong business cases, coordinating delivery across multiple teams, controlling budgets and schedules, and maintaining project quality. The role also involves supporting long-term planning with IT leaders, contributing to resource allocation and project prioritisation.ResponsibilitiesLead and support the delivery of strategic IT projects on time and within budget.Develop and maintain project plans for assigned workstreams within wider programme structures.Establish project governance routines and meeting cadences.Communicate project progress and overall health through clear, accurate reporting.Manage external vendors to ensure high-quality execution of project tasks.Identify risks to timelines or budgets, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.Support PMO initiatives to enhance value for internal IT stakeholders.Coach and guide project analysts and project owners in project management best practices.About You – Key Skills & Experience5+ years' experience in a project management role.Demonstrated success driving large cross-functional initiatives through to implementation.Strong attention to detail, ability to manage and analyse large volumes of data, and capacity to maintain a strategic overview.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders internally and externally.Confident presentation skills and ability to simplify complex information for different audiences.Proven ability to build trusted relationships across multi-country and multi-disciplinary teams.Formal project management qualification is an advantage.To hear more about this role contact Sue on 01-6520652 or email your CV to susan.tobin@realtime.jobs
