Information Technology Security Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a technically skilled IT Security Engineer for our client to support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity protocols across enterprise systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and respond to cyber threats, suspicious activities, and potential intrusions across IT infrastructure.Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure regulatory alignment.Support audits and investigations related to cybersecurity incidents.Provide technical input into security architecture and system design.RequirementsMinimum 4–5 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity engineering.Familiarity with SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and network security protocols.Strong understanding of threat landscapes and risk management frameworks.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH) are an advantage.
