Information Technology Service Management Specialist

Position: ITSM Automation EngineerLocation: Fully Remote (US time zones preferred; Pacific is a bonus but not required)Pay: $56.25/hr Duration: 10-month contractHours: 40 hours/week (OT possible but not likely)Start Date: ASAPTravel: Not requiredConversion to FTE: NoKey Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain automated workflows, integrations, and custom solutions across ITSM platforms• Optimize customer knowledge base automation using JIRA Bot and custom-built tools• Implement low-code/no-code automation solutions using Workato, Azure Foundry AI, or similar platforms• Collaborate with ITSM, DevOps, and software development teams to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency• Design and maintain API integrations between ITSM tools, enterprise applications, and third-party services• Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance overall system efficiency• Support self-service enablement through intelligent automationRequired Qualifications:• 5+ years in automation engineering, ITSM, or software development• Experience with Aisera (Agentic AI required)• Proficiency with low-code automation• Experience with ITSM platforms: ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Cherwell, Ivanti, or BMC Helix• Strong scripting experience: Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript• Experience designing API integrations and automation frameworks• Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platform best practicesPreferred Qualifications:• Experience with AI-driven automation tools• ITIL v4 or ITSM-related certifications• Background in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps concepts
