2nd Line IT Support Engineer Greater Manchester | Hybrid | £30k - £35k SR2 are helping to recruit an experience 2nd Line Engineer for one of our Manchester based clients. The client is an established and award-winning managed service provider and are looking to grow their team. If you’re passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems, and want to work in a supportive, hands-on environment, then this could be the role for you. Role: Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, and network issuesTroubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical problems as neededSupport system rollouts, upgrades, and improvement projectsMaintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutionsRequirements: Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support roleStrong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365Good understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)Experience with virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup toolsExcellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitudeFull UK driving licence and access to a carPackage: £30,000 - £35,000 salary Strong progression opportunities33 days holiday Gym, tech, and cycle schemesFunded training and certificationsPlease apply with a copy of your CV and Emma from SR2 will contact potential candidates regarding more details.
