We have 700+ employees and pride ourselves on being a leader in the supply of building products to the trade market, innovation and our employee development/training programs.We are seeking a hands on full-time Systems Administrator (L3), reporting into our IT Services Manager, to support our business including serving as expert technical support for any issues escalating from within the IT and Helpdesk Team.The Bowens Benefits Competitive salary, annual salary reviews and other benefits including 8 weeks paid parental leave for primary carersBe part of a growing Australian owned business where a company value is “fun”Free on-site parking, coffees and Friday BBQ breakfastsWellbeing program including EAP services, health education sessions, fun runs and moreDiscounts on company product and access to exclusive offers from corporate partnersOpportunity to build a career and take up different development opportunitiesOngoing incentives and fun team rewardsYour duties will include but are not limited to:Act as an escalation point for technical issues within the IT teamLead the design, implementation, and delivery of technical projectsProvide expert guidance on infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologiesOversee system architecture, security, and infrastructure planningCollaborate closely with the IT Services Manager to deliver robust IT solutionsEnsure compliance with cybersecurity standardsRoll up your sleeves to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesMaintain a comprehensive understanding of all ongoing IT activitiesMentor and support team members to build technical capabilityWe are looking for an individual who possess the below skills:Extensive experience in senior technical roles with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Expertise in infrastructure, networking, and cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, AWS Workspaces.Proficiency in systems and security tools such as Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, SIEM, and endpoint protection.Hands-on experience with IT systems such as Hyper-V, PowerShell scripting, network/server monitoring tools and backup solutions.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Desirable extras: familiarity with TrendMicro Vision One, Frameworks ERP, AIX, ProgressDB, Postman APIs, and mentoring team members.All applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.All applicants will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
