About Us: Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four is an accredited, nonprofit training provider dedicated to enhancing the workforce by offering top-tier IT training and certifications. Our mission is to empower individuals to upskill, achieve certifications, and secure positions in the tech industry or embark on entrepreneurial ventures.Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic IT Instructor to deliver both lecture and hands-on lab sessions for courses leading to certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, Azure, and CompTIA Security+. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of the subject matter, and the ability to engage students in practical learning experiences.Key Responsibilities:Instruction: Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate hands-on lab sessions that cater to diverse learning styles, focusing on practical application of concepts.Student Assessment: Develop and administer assessments, projects, and lab activities to evaluate student progress. Provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.Labs Management: Oversee laboratory environments to ensure optimal functionality during practical sessions. Aid students in any issues or questions that arise during lab classes.Student Support: Offer academic advising, mentorship, and support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in IT certifications and industry trends to ensure course content remains relevant and up-to-date.Employment and Entrepreneurship Assistance (EEAS) Services Manager: The EEAS department is responsible for assisting students with revising their resume, LinkedIn profiles, helping them get on the right job boards, and doing mock technical interviews to prepare them. The goal of this team is to aid the students in landing a new IT role, getting a promotion where they are now, or pursuing entrepreneurship. You will be responsible for managing the EEAS team as well as assist students in the activities mentioned.Qualifications:Skills Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT roles related to system administration, networking, and security. Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.Teaching Experience: Minimum of 3 years teach IT related programs.Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.Certifications: Current certifications in Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, Azure, and CompTIA Security+ is preferred.
