Clinical Research Assistant

Job Title: Clinical Research AssistantPay Rate: $25/HrDuration: 12 Months (25-30 hours per Week)Location: Stamford, CTShift - 1st Shift - Normal business hours 25-30 hours per week. Schedule will be set monthlyOur client is a global industrial and consumer products manufacturer. We are looking for a Clinical Research Assistant. Assist Clinical Coordinators in preparing and executing clinical studies that support product claims for Beauty Care, Laundry, and Adhesive businesses.

Prepare documents for clinical studies, assist in study material preparation and interview, and administer informed consent to clinical study subjects. In addition, collect data from clinical instrument readings, data entry, a quality check of clinical binders, lab preparation before and after study, responsible for assuring large groups of subjects are aware of the study activities, as well as any other information pertinent to them. Communicate instructions effectively. General lab duties to include the following:

preparing lab coats, assuring clean laundry for all study needs, using clinical instruments as needed, product application, training to use a scientific scale to collect product weights pre-and post-study, hot room pad collection, and washing subject’s legs and arms for multiple study protocols. Requirements: 1-2 years of Clinical research experience (preferred)Strong communication skillsSome colleges, with lab experience and a Science backgroundProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Standing for 2-4 hours at a time for execution of clinical studiesStrong communication skillsFlexible and proactive in taking on responsibilities with a willingness to learnDetail orientedTeam player, motivated to succeedFlexible schedule 25-30 hours a weekWork early mornings or evenings on occasion
