You in?Redis is looking for a Devops Team Lead to join our R&D department in Tel-Aviv.Why would you love this job?As a Team Lead for Redis R&D, you will play a critical role recruiting, motivating, teaching, and leading Infra DevOps Engineers.You will be part of our cloud group, creating and supporting the entire development and deployment process of the fastest NoSQL clusters on earth, running many hundreds of clusters on top of all major public and private cloud infrastructures.Our ideal candidate is a strong individual that loves to work with a diverse team of bright and ambitious people. You are looking to mentor and grow the next generation of DevOps developers.If you are passionate about software and the means to deliver it in cutting edge environments with the best tools, then this is the right challenge for you.What You’ll DoRecruit, mentor, and lead a team of infra DevOps developers working on a large scale, distributed cloud system.Lead, prioritize and design new features and enhancements with an emphasis on clean and highly efficient codeCollaborate closely with Product, DevOps, Architects, and other R&D teamsDrive the technology roadmap and timelineWork closely with the Redis R&D and Cloud Operations team to design, build and maintain the tools that make their job easier.What will you need to have?B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent7 + years of coding experience in high level languages3 + years of management experience leading technical teamsExperience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with Kubernetes, micro services and ecosystem (Helm, kustomize, Istio, CSI, GKE, EKS…)Experience using CI/CD (Jenkins, Flux, ArgoCD)Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CrossPlane) and configuration management Self-direction, ambition and an eagerness to learn new thingsExtra Great If You HaveExperience with configuration as code (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet….).Experience with Agile methodology.Experience with cloud based solutions at the architectural understanding level.Have participated in an end-to-end big data and/or large scale performance challenge.As a global company, we value a culture of curiosity, diversity of thought, and innovation from our employees, customers, and partners.
