Role purposeLead the planning and scheduling function for the Infrarose Airport Project, ensuring the development, maintenance, and control of the integrated master programme across all workstreams. Provide strategic planning oversight to achieve on-time project delivery while maintaining compliance with contractual and client requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and secure approval for the contractual baseline programme in Primavera P6, covering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning schedules. Ensure schedule integration across airside, landside, terminal, MEP, and systems packages. Chair weekly and monthly schedule review meetings with stakeholders. Direct critical path analysis and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
Coordinate schedule risk analysis and scenario planning. Support EoT (Extension of Time) claim preparation through forensic schedule analysis. Mentor a multi-national planning team to ensure consistent application of project controls standards. Align schedule outputs with cost and progress data for accurate Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Twelve to fifteen years of experience in planning and scheduling, with at least six years in a management role on mega infrastructure projects, preferably airports.
Advanced Primavera P6 skills in an enterprise environment and expertise in schedule risk analysis tools such as Acumen Risk or Pertmaster. Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication abilities. Proven track record in delivering complex multi-package schedules under FIDIC contracts. International project delivery experience in Africa or similarly challenging environments is highly desirable. Performance Indicators (KPIs): Accuracy and timeliness of master programme updates.
