Infrastructure & Backend Engineer (Python & Nutanix)

We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for an Infrastructure & Backend Engineer to join one of our clients with an immediate hiring need.This role can be full-time or part-time (6 months duration), depending on availability. Candidates should be based in LATAM, preferably speak Spanish, and have an English level of B2+ or C1.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend systems and automation scripts, primarily in Python.Work with Nutanix infrastructure, including Nutanix APIs, NKE/NKP, Nutanix Files, Protection Domains, and Nutanix NDB.Implement and support data protection tools such as Cohesity, Rubrik, or HYCU.Build and manage agents for Windows and Linux environments.Utilize technologies like Celery, VictoriaMetrics / VictoriaLogs, Loki, and Flask for system integration and monitoring.Collaborate with other teams to optimize authentication models and ensure system reliability.Core ExpertiseNutanix platform management and automation (APIs, NKE/NKP, Files, NDB).Strong Python development skills.Experience with Celery, Flask, and monitoring/logging tools.Knowledge of data protection solutions (Cohesity, Rubrik, HYCU).English proficiency: B2+ or C1.
