For more information, visit https://www.bitdefender.comAbout the jobAs an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations department at Bitdefender, contributing to the stability, performance and security of our core infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and optimizing systems that support critical business functions, while ensuring compliance with configuration and operational standards. Key Responsibilities:Provide system administration services for Linux, Microsoft technologies.Troubleshoot Linux, Microsoft technologies systems, identifying hardware, software (both OS and application level), and networking issues.Ensure systems are kept in required configuration profile, including maintenance, changes as required by evolvement of production environments, updating software and software configurations.Assume other duties, projects as they arise and be responsive to the needs of the department.Keeping up to date with the latest position related technologies.Ensuring that operational procedures are up to date and effectively applied. Technical Requirements:3+ years of hands-on experience in Linux, Microsoft technologies systems administration, provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (AD, DNS, GPO, SCCM, O365, Azure).Networking background (TCP/IP stack, iptables, DNS).Troubleshooting skills on various systems, including mail (Postfix, Dovecot), web (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy), database (MySQL, PostgreSQL).Ability to quickly troubleshoot Linux, Microsoft technologies systems functionality to resolution of incidents.Experience with any Virtualization platform (VMware, Proxmox, KVM, ...).Experience with any Scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, Python).Knowledge of Automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, ...).Knowledge of Log management (ELK, Splunk, …).Knowledge of shared Storage technologies including SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS, etc. Familiarity with Monitoring and Alerting tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, …).Knowledge of CDN, WAF, DNS.Production experience with one of the cloud providers (GCP, AWS, …) is a plus.Experience with OpenStack, OpenNebula is a plus.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes is a plus. Other Requirements:Participate in 24/7 support, on-call (shifts).Relevant University degree or professional experience in the IT industry.Good command of the English language both speaking and writing.Quick learner, dynamic, energetic and customer-oriented.Positive attitude, highly motivated, recognized by others as a self-starter.Efficient time management and team player.
