Infrastructure Project Manager (VMware_Nutanix_Migration_PCI-DSS)

Maltem Asia is currently seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager for a Hospitality Client based in Bangkok, Thailand.Summary:The Project Manager will lead the Nutanix Obsolescence Program, driving the migration of global IT infrastructure from VMware to Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV). This role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, and technical understanding of large-scale infrastructure transformations within highly regulated environments (e.g., PCI-DSS).Responsibilities:Lead the Nutanix Obsolescence Program by coordinating and executing global server and application migrations from VMware to Nutanix AHV.Ensure all transitions align with enterprise security (PCI-DSS), performance, and cost optimization objectives.Direct and manage transformation projects involving cross-functional teams across network, security, and application domains.Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including steering committees, progress reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.Prepare, present, and obtain approvals for Change Records through the Change Advisory Board (CAB).Monitor project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within scope and budget.Drive continuous improvement of project management methodologies and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.Promote awareness and integration of French language and cultural practices within the organization to enhance collaboration with global teams.Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in infrastructure modernization and Nutanix ecosystem through self-learning, internal workshops, and professional certifications.Skillset Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL certification preferred.Nutanix or virtualization-related certifications are advantageous.Minimum 8 years of IT infrastructure project management experience.Proven track record managing large-scale virtualization or data center migration projects.Strong understanding of Nutanix AHV, VMware, and enterprise IT environments.Familiarity with PCI-DSS or similar compliance frameworks.Experience working with cross-regional teams and managing stakeholders at multiple levels.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).Working knowledge of French is a plus.
