Infrastructure/ Security Specialist

Position Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Specialist/Security Specialist to design, deploy, and manage our modern cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Rancher (RKE2), Kubernetes, and advanced networking/security concepts.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and maintain Rancher (RKE2) and Kubernetes clusters in production environments.Configure and manage Ingress controllers and Kong API gateway for traffic routing and API management.Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Identity Providers, and authentication flows using Dex, Keycloak, LDAP, and OAuth.Manage and maintain Ceph for distributed and persistent storage.Administer and optimize Artifactory for container images and artifact repositories.Design and maintain secure networking architectures and enforce security best practices.Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high performance and uptime.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions into applications and services.Perform ongoing monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning of infrastructure.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience with Rancher (RKE2) and Kubernetes administration.Proficiency in Ingress controllers and Kong API Gateway configuration.Hands-on expertise with Dex, Keycloak, and integration with LDAP/OAuth.Proven knowledge of SSO and Identity Provider configurations.Experience with Ceph for storage management.Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory or similar repository tools.Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and infrastructure hardening.Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues.Preferred QualificationsExperience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).Understanding of DevOps automation and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of container security scanning tools and compliance frameworks.
