Type: 5-week part-time learning & innovation programCompensation: Unpaid — the program is free of charge for selected participantsAbout the ProgramKasvuhuoneilmiö is a learning and co-creation program that connects international and Finnish professionals with Finnish companies to solve real sustainability and business challenges. You’ll join a diverse, interdisciplinary team, receive tailored training, and work directly with a challenge-partner company to develop concept-level solutions ready for piloting.The program combines two tracks — employment and innovation — helping participants both grow professionally and contribute to meaningful change.Role SummaryAs a Kasvuhuoneilmiö participant, you will take part in a 5-week collaborative sprint focused on understanding, designing, and presenting innovative solutions to a real company challenge. You’ll gain hands-on experience in co-creation, sustainability-driven innovation, and professional networking in Finland.Success in this role means actively contributing to your team’s challenge project, showing curiosity and openness, and using your skills to make ideas grow into tangible outcomes.ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to explore and define company challengesConduct user research, interviews, and benchmarking to understand the problem spaceDevelop, test, and refine concepts that respond to real sustainability or business needsPresent your team’s solution at the final showcase eventParticipate in weekly workshops on employment, innovation, and cultural understandingReflect on learning outcomes and identify next professional stepsQualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher (any field)Strong motivation to contribute to sustainability-oriented innovationExcellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in English (Finnish language is a plus, but not required)Open mindset, adaptability, and willingness to learn by doingWhat You’ll GainReal-world experience solving company challenges in a Finnish work contextCoaching, feedback, and mentoring from experienced facilitatorsNew professional connections and potential access to job opportunities or internshipsA portfolio-ready project demonstrating your innovation and teamwork skills💡 Similar innovation programs in Finland cost between 800–3000 €, but participation in Kasvuhuoneilmiö is completely free for selected participants.Apply at: https://www.kasvuhuoneilmio.fi/Application period: Apply by Oct 27th 2025.
